- Attending on board and controlling shore and ship quantities and also attending on occasions as vessels Superintendent for loss control purposes.
- As bunker fuel is oftern the largest contributor to the operational cost of a shipwe intervene to ensure the correct amount of fuel is received by the vessel.
- Bunker detective surveys are carried out by our marine surveyors on behalf of the charterers/owners to find concealed (hidden) bunker fuel onboard.
- Draft surveys are convenient and economical means of ascertaining the quantity of cargo loaded or discharged from a ship by reading the vessel’s drafts, measuring the ballast water, fuel and diesel oil and other liquids on board, and calculating the final quantity by using the vessel’s approved deadweight scales and tank tables, etc.
- On-Hire Surveys / Off-Hire Surveys of vessels either vessel is delivered into a charter, or redelivered from a charter. Our reports include always a maximum description of a vessel’s cargo spaces/deck areas structural condition, cargo space cleanliness, bunkers on board, etc.
- We perform together with our approved laboratory partners, all type of analysis, ranging from fuel oil and gasoil , cylinder oils, fresh water for bacterial control including legionella and bilge waters. A total comprehensive service.
- Full control for bulk carriers loading/unloading by truck tally, weight at scales and vessels draft, including sealing of holds.
- Two of our surveyors attending permanently verifying procedure and final quantities on arrival and after transhipment.
- Our experienced team of surveyors are responsible to additivate cargoes to be put within specifications. We follow the technical instructions during loading ensuring cargo is fully compatible.
